Located within walking distance of the city center, this African-themed B&B offers comfortable rooms and a delicious breakfast in a beautifully restored Victorian house. The owners are knowledgeable about the area and offered us insider tips on places to visit. We especially enjoyed the African art and decor displayed throughout the house, as well as the hot tub available for guests to use.

We recently stayed at this 5-star hotel for two nights and had a truly luxurious experience. The exclusive amenities in our room were top-notch, from the comfortable bed to the private facilities. The location was perfect, close enough to the center but still quiet enough for a relaxing stay. The service was impeccable, with the staff attentive to our every need.
Although we had a wonderful stay, there was one minor issue. The breakfast could have been more varied and included more healthy options, but this did not detract from the overall experience at this hotel.

The B&B was in a good location, close to the centre of town and easy to reach local attractions. The breakfast was cooked to order and the poached eggs were perfect. The hosts were friendly and offered good advice.
The decor was not to my taste, too many African artifacts and animal photos. The B&B felt outdated and needed a modern touch.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel, from the cleanliness of the room to the fantastic hotel facilities, and the great location to explore the South Island. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. I also loved the option to relax in the hot tub and the pleasantly sunny warm conservatory or take a short trip to a local beach for some shots of the sunset.
Couldn't stay longer.

During our stay on the South island of New Zealand, we had the pleasure of staying in a charming Victorian B&B that was tastefully decorated with African safari touches. Our room was beautiful, with comfortable beds, and the bathroom was sparkling clean. The service provided by our friendly hosts was impeccable. Breakfast was excellent and served in the pleasantly sunny warm conservatory. We enjoyed visiting Queens Park, as well as a local beach for some shots of the sunset.
The TV in our room was a bit small and awkwardly positioned, but it was a minor issue compared to all the positives we experienced.
Tourists from New Zealand often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
